In order to increase revenue at Alaska Airlines, the Director of Commercial Strategy is in charge of a team that studies the market and competitors as well as potential new business ventures. Long-term commercial strategy development is the team's responsibility. A team of analysts' strategic goals and direction are established by this role by directing and implementing strategies that strike a balance between delivering high customer value propositions and maximizing financial returns for Alaska Airlines. The Director of Commercial Strategy works closely with senior leaders to evaluate potential short- and long-term revenue streams, bring all Commercial divisions together around key strategic priorities and objectives, and continuously monitor progress toward these objectives.

- Collaborates with experts in network planning, revenue management, e-commerce, sales, and marketing in order to deliver aggressive annual revenue budgets that are in accordance with approved strategic priorities.

Required.
- 8 years of experience in network planning, revenue management, product management, business development, or a related area.
- 5 years of leadership experience, at least 2 of which were spent in direct charge of others.
- a bachelor's degree with a focus in business, finance, economics, or a related field, or two more years of relevant training or experience in its place.
- expertise with Microsoft Office applications (e. g. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Salary Ranges.
- $174,300 - $287,700 / year.
- Total Target Compensation Range (incl. Bonuses and stock).
- $228,390-$375,810.
Payment Details.
The starting pay for this position is listed above in the pay range and total target compensation package. Your pay will be influenced by a number of factors, including your location, your level of experience and skill in the relevant field, as well as other Alaska/Horizon employees.
