 The work description.

 This role is in charge of directing IT project management personnel, knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to IT project activities in order to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of all project stakeholders, including the customer. This includes overseeing crucial project elements like scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement throughout all phases of the systems life cycle.

 responsible for the coordinated management of a portfolio of projects to achieve a specific set of business objectives that would be impossible with separate project management. oversees the creation of programs from the initial concept through the definition and design of IT solutions to their implementation. communicates with all program-affected regions, including the executive levels. in charge of the program's strategy and objectives. Complex work plans, schedules, program estimates, resource plans, and status reports are overseen by senior management. oversees the recording and evaluation of the program's meetings and its activities. regulates how program deliverables are assessed. provide project teams with oversight and direction for project management. Offers thought leadership in IT and continuous improvement for the overall performance of IT delivery. talks to the CIO or another higher-ranking executive about the status of particular programs.

 serves as a resource for the Sector with regard to IT project management, including:.

  •  internal organizational interfaces.
  •  acting as IT's representative in the development of the sector's business strategy, directs and coordinates communication with the Business Unit Management Team. Establish the IT requirements necessary to support the expanding business strategy of the assigned sector.
  •  focuses on how complex IT solutions fit the issue at hand and identifying gaps before they grow too large to ignore throughout the search and solution development process.
  •  supervises and organizes participation in the evaluation of new products to ascertain whether they are appropriate for the needs of the designated sector or division.
  •  In terms of IT competency and capability, takes the lead in the development of early leads and proposals for all opportunities.
  •  presides over the development of the IT department's response to all RFP, RFI, and RFQ requests from clients for new business opportunities.
  •  Delivers customer/partner presentations for all opportunities, or delegates this responsibility to staff.
  •  carries out productive collaboration with all levels of client, business partner, and vendor management.

  •  Professional experience with projects involving system design, development, or integration (packaged and custom solutions).
  •  knowledge of creating project schedules, business cases, proposals, and financial justifications, among other things. for significant projects.
