The Employee Relations Business Partner (ERBP) is a resource that managers, executives, and other staff members within the Retail organization can use to get advice and direction on matters pertaining to employee relations. Important objectives that are achieved consistently, impartially, and justly in support of the Credo include legal compliance and adherence to Apple policies. This is accomplished through a strong partnership with the Centers of Excellence (COEs).
Primary Conditions.
- 7 to 12 years of HR experience, with an emphasis on employee relations.
- knowledgeable about balancing multiple priorities, interests, and work streams across markets.
- There has been a definite demonstration of independent work abilities, including the capacity to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
- demonstrated capacity for persuasion and leadership.
- the ability to work well with others and establish strong bonds with managers and HR colleagues.
- Outstanding writing, listening, and presentation skills.
- extensive knowledge of conducting investigations and competence with documentation related to investigations.
- familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- It is preferable if you have HR/ER experience at big businesses.
Description.
- Determine, consider, and implement solutions to complex and extremely delicate employee relations issues, including novel situations where precedents for resolution are not available. In order to help market leadership teams make critical and challenging decisions involving employee relations, e. g. policies, rules, and procedures relating to human resources, professional conduct, dismissals, and harassment. These decisions involve significant risk and may have a big effect on the company. In light of the issues raised by the staff, review and assess any decisions that have an impact. Investigate allegations of wrongdoing and rule violations. making evaluations of workplace violence and taking appropriate action. Throughout the entire organization, develop, disseminate, and implement programs, policies, and procedures for employee relations. Conduct investigations of varying complexity Train line management, HR, and ER in matters pertaining to employee relations. Use ER metrics with clients to spot patterns and develop proactive plans to encourage good ER in the organization.
