A qualified applicant is needed to fill a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position in the corporate HR/Benefits Department of, a privately held company with its headquarters in Oklahoma City, OK. This position is responsible for performing complex, specialized duties relating to the administration of all retirement and benefits programs. This position is managed by a manager of benefits administration.

 NOTE: Candidates must submit a current resume and a cover letter outlining their specific interest in the position, any relevant experience they may have, and their desired salary in order to be considered for the position.

 Among the responsibilities are:.

 Benefits for health, life, long-term disability (LTD), and flexible spending accounts (FSA) for employees, as well as 401(k), IRA, and Non-Qualified Plan benefits, are administered and distributed.

  •  investigate issues with retirement benefits and programs, and resolve them.
  •  maintaining and monitoring the HIPAA Privacy Policy.
  •  Understanding and interpreting the legal plan documents is necessary.
  •  Respect and acknowledge agreements with third parties.
  •  Both routine and unique reports should be kept.
  •  Provide a monthly analysis and report on call volume for the Leave of Absence and Benefits teams.
  •  Process vendor invoices, financial reports, retirement plan deposits, and check register reconciliations for medical, life, LTD, and FSA.
  •  assist with the yearly 401(k) Plan Audit, which includes the review of the Financial Statements, the 5500, and the SARS.
  •  assistance with yearly SARS, FSA 5500, Life, LTD, and medical expenses.
  •  Review and audit the employee retirement and benefits plans.
  •  After evaluating the performance and worth of the current programs, make suggestions for enhancements and modifications.
  •  other duties and obligations related thereto that are delegated.
  •  On Saturday, you might have to put in extra hours.

  •  3 to 5 years of experience, preferably with benefits.
  •  knowledge of life, health, dental, LTD, and flexible insurance.
  •  expertise in self-insurance plan administration.
  •  working experience with outside vendors.
  •  awareness of the 401(k) plan.
  •  familiarity with how electronic systems work and report analysis.
  •  Excel, Outlook, and MS Word proficiency are required.
  •  excellent interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  •  Knowledge of the SAP software is preferred.
  •  Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience working for multistate employers.
