 The primary duty of the position is to handle Sales pre-travel service issues; when necessary, it also entails providing policy-driven advice and creative solutions. After writing a summary of any post-travel issues, work with colleagues to escalate those issues for handling and resolution. By being receptive, possessing specialized technical and system knowledge, and being adept at networking, these individuals work with internal support departments to find solutions and support for problems. Must be capable of simultaneously managing multiple cases and email accounts. There will be internal stakeholders and external customers to communicate with, so it is necessary to have strong verbal and written communication skills.

 Principal duties:

  •  Respond to inquiries about unified products and services, travel-related questions, ticketing issues, and special travel requirements for clients to interact with and assist both internal and external clients.
  •  Control case logging for service-related items via personal email, specialty boxes in Outlook, or queues via a sales support application tool.
  •  Strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as the Sales Effectiveness Team, Rev Management, Airports, Refunds, Accounting, Baggage, and Rate Desk.
  •  Follow any adjustments to the policies and procedures.

 NOTE: This position is conveniently located close to a United Hub and offers a US-based remote work arrangement, but it will involve about 15% travel.
