As an interior design intern on the Design Team within the Business Solutions Group, you would be immersed in all facets of the design process and gain practical experience working with actual clients.

nationwide projects. If candidates need to complete the required internship hours, they will have the opportunity to be paired with senior designers within a specific vertical upon request.

We are presenting two start dates: this summer or the first quarter of 2023.

 You'll do as follows.

Use AutoCAD or Revit to create floor plans, furniture layouts, and installation plans.

 • The upkeep of the design repository.

 • Consult suppliers and manufacturers about sample requests, production lead times, and pricing.

 • Employ Adobe Creative software to produce client-facing presentations, such as Product Catalogs, Design Proposals, and Standard Packages.

 • Creative and design support for client projects (site analysis, floor plans, CAD renderings, color schemes, design plans, mood boards).

 • Write trend reports to present your findings to the design team.

 • Collaborate closely on big projects with the Business Solutions Group team as a whole and the Business Account Manager.

 What you will require.

Either in Revit or AutoCAD, you must be an expert.

 • Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is advantageous, as is proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam Revu.

 • A willingness to experiment and the capacity to execute the client's vision while displaying a fundamental knowledge of design principles.

 • Knowledge of furnishings, finishes, and materials pertinent to interior design.

 • It's critical to be able to work well with others and to maintain a positive outlook.

 • The ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and a never-ending quest for fresh concepts.

 • An attention to detail combined with a quick work pace and an eagerness to learn.

 • An honest desire to learn, ask questions, and assemble as much information as you can (be a sponge).

 • Self-motivated; takes the initiative, needs to be proactive, and must deal with issues on their own.

 • Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities at once (stay organized).
