We have the capacity to design a space that meets the needs of the client in terms of timeline, budget, and vision whether they are a sizable hospitality group, a national property management company, or a corporate office client. As an interior design intern on the Design Team within the Business Solutions Group, you would be completely immersed in all facets of the design process and gain practical experience working with real clients.

We are offering start dates in the summer or the first half of the fall of 2023.
You'll carry out the following.
Use Revit or AutoCAD to create installation plans, furniture layouts, and floor plans.
• Keep a design library.
• Consult with suppliers and manufacturers about sample requests, production lead times, and pricing.
• Using Adobe Creative software, create presentations that are viewed by clients, such as Product Catalogs, Design Proposals, and Standard Packages.
• Design support and assistance for client projects (site assessments, floor plans, computer-aided-design (CAD) renderings, color schemes, design plans, mood boards).
• Create trend reports that can be reviewed and discussed by the design team.
• Collaborate with the Business Account Manager and other members of the Business Solutions Group team on important projects.
Items You'll Need.
Knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit is necessary.
• It's a plus if you have experience with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Excel. • Photoshop and Adobe InDesign knowledge is necessary.
• A willingness to be creative and the ability to convey your understanding of basic design principles while executing your client's vision.
• Knowledge of the furnishings, coatings, and materials used in interior design.
• It's crucial to keep a cheerful disposition while working with a cohesive team.
• Possibility of thriving in a business environment and ongoing pursuit of novel ideas.
• The capacity to pick up information quickly and work carefully.
• A genuine desire to research, learn, and amass as much knowledge as you can (be a sponge).
• Self-motivated; demonstrates initiative, must act independently, and must be able to solve problems.
• Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities at once (stay organized).
