- We are seeking a lead-level content designer with experience in the gaming sector to help us push the boundaries of what games could be on Netflix. This position will work closely with a top-tier team of other content designers and writers, product designers, product managers, engineers, and cross-functional game partners to make it possible for millions of members all over the world to enjoy games on Netflix. We are seeking a full-time content designer to lead innovation workstreams as our games effort grows in order to investigate and improve how our members access, discover, and play games on Netflix.
- The best applicant for the position is a multitasker with experience in content design, user experience writing, and content strategy. Additionally, they must be able to function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. They will be driven by their own goals, pro-active, and well-organized, with an unwavering attention to detail. They will also be able to present their work to key stakeholders and communicate clearly while setting priorities for their own work. Naturally, they will have a great deal of passion for and enthusiasm for games.
- This position focuses on the UI presentation of games on the Netflix service, NOT the content of the games themselves.
Responsibilities:.
- -Start, specify, and manage fresh Content Design initiatives for the Games product area from conception to completion.
- -Collaborate with prototypers and other designers to explore and enhance how game experiences are displayed on Netflix, including motion, visual, interactive, and content designers.
- -Build a content strategy and write UX copy for the Netflix Product UI to present game-related information.
- -Conduct A/B testing and qualitative research investigations, using the findings to inform choices about the content design that will capture and hold viewers' attention.
- -When documenting the language and word choices in design specifications, consult the Games glossary and style guide.
- -As needed, updating the glossary and style guide for the games.
- -Showcase your content design work to key stakeholders, team members, and other content designers and writers to get their feedback.
- -Establish workflows and requirements for the content design work to direct discussion and advance it toward implementation.
The minimal requirements are.
- 8+ years' experience in content strategy, user experience, or both.
- -A natural storyteller with the ability to plan and coordinate compelling narratives for use across various product touchpoints.
- -Extremely meticulous, organized, and able to set priorities and adjust to the team's changing needs.
- -Capable of handling ambiguity while managing decisions and output from start to finish.
- -The capacity to work with designers and researchers to specify a distinct product voice and a narrowly focused message.
- -Experience in the development of design and linguistic frameworks.
- -Fantastic communication abilities with visual thinkers, as well as the self-assurance to stand up for your convictions in our open, feedback-driven culture.
- -A proactive self-starter who performs well in a busy, unclear environment.
- -A positive outlook, especially when adjusting to changing tasks and procedures.
