It is crucial that you have the ability to work cross-functionally with a range of teams from the Design, Engineering, and Product Management teams. You put up a valiant fight for customers and baristas of Starbucks. You are devoted to good design, both in terms of its accessibility and aesthetic appeal. You are knowledgeable about visual hierarchy, skilled in visual design, and knowledgeable about how to best present visual information to the customer and barista at any given time.

 You'll carry out:.

  •  Work cooperatively on a product team that is concentrated on important customer- and barista-facing features while being able to effectively communicate your thinking and decision-making process.
  •  Specify features and how they relate to customer, employee, and business needs in collaboration with product management.
  •  Create interactions for new features by implementing current design patterns across our platforms.
  •  Get feedback and criticism from other product designers by working together.
  •  Collaborate with data scientists and user researchers to evaluate the impact and efficacy of your work.
  •  Working with accessibility technologists will ensure that the product is usable by all users, regardless of platform.
  •  On a variety of projects, work quickly and effectively. In response to customer demand, release fresh new features, bug fixes for existing features, and minor upgrades.
  •  Create and prototype your design utilizing Figma and other tools.
  •  Maintaining a great sense of humor while working together to generate new ideas.

 Qualifications:.

  •  Preferable is 2-3 years of professional design experience, along with experience building and shipping products. More so than the duration of your professional experience, we are interested in the quality of your work and how it was accomplished.
  •  the capability of communicating conceptual ideas, design justifications, and design details visually and orally.
  •  managing the design process from planning to release over several releases while employed in a product organization.
  •  a working understanding of user research and evaluation, interaction design, prototyping, visual design, and user adoption.
  •  understanding of closely working with developers to iterate until functional and then pixel-perfect levels.
  •  showed mastery of visual design, especially in the construction of visual hierarchies on layouts, and displayed meticulousness in the use of typography, spacing, and colors.
  •  being up to date on the latest digital trends and process methodologies.
  •  the ability to use Figma's plugins. Software for prototyping, such as Principle or Framer, is advantageous.
