Review fraud claims submitted by Cardmembers and respond to inbound calls by setting up and completing fraud cases. After reviewing the information, a decision needs to be made regarding whether or not to accept the claim made by the Cardmember in exchange for payment of the outstanding balance and, ultimately, correspondence with the merchant. The account must then be maintained in order to send the appropriate correspondence, make the necessary financial adjustments to either party, and note the account.
