 Creating and ensuring the accuracy of the financial statements for our company-owned and licensed stores (LS) enterprises in the United States and Canada will be one of your responsibilities as a senior accountant on the Americas Accounting team. You will cooperate cross-functionally with many groups on significant issues like Licensed Stores equipment revenue/COGS, Company Owned utility expenditures, system process improvements, and important business initiatives.

  •  To ensure the accuracy and completeness of the financial statements for the North America segment, create, document, and put into practice internal controls. Prepare account reconciliations and journal entries.
  •  Aid authorized North American retailers with their capital project billings. To ensure the promptness and accuracy of project billings, the LS Construction and Accounts Receivable teams should work together.
  •  Promote cross-training among the entire team and assist manager in mentoring and coaching less experienced accountants. aids in organizing special projects, audits, and work priorities. provides management with information and advice on issues, seeking assistance as needed to escalate issues.
  •  By suggesting and putting into practice fresh concepts and innovations, enhance the current systems, processes, and procedures that have an impact on the creation of account analyses for quarter- and month-end close as well as financial reporting.
  •  Actively represent departmental interests by participating in cross-functional discussions.
  •  produces and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to their job responsibilities.

  •  3 years of experience in general accounting, including reporting, account reconciliation, and journal entries.
  •  A background in capital accounting, transactional accounting, or operational accounting is preferred.
  •  Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively across functional lines and the capacity to understand a variety of business and financial issues.
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate financial results to people at different levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner.
  •  the ability to spearhead and put into action process controls and improvements, as well as having an eye for detail.
  •  familiarity with US GAAP and internal control procedures.
