Principal Obligations:

Our services, applications, and websites are designed and implemented in accordance with United's secure development standards, which are validated by the Principal Architect – Application Cybersecurity. Security is integrated into the product lifecycle from design to deployment by the Senior Principal Architect, who collaborates closely with development, product, and other teams across the organization. The Principal Architect is well-known for defining security requirements, carrying out application security assessments, and offering developers guidance and advice regarding remediation. The Principal Application Security Architect can be brought in to look at a new system, look over a new application, or give advice on application security and coding best practices on any given day.

  • Leads the design, definition, and implementation of security best practices and standards and ensures that product development teams understand them. Promotes and contributes to the continuous improvement of our security strategy and supports risk prioritization Helps train and support team members Leads the improvement of the accessibility of security through automation, continuous integration pipelines, and other means Perform code analysis of applications,

Capabilities

What's expected to succeed (Least Capabilities):

  • Knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and CWE 25 is a must, as is a minimum of nine years of experience in a related field.
