Job Details:
Our mission-critical Data Center is in need of an Engineering Operations Technician to act as a technical resource. The position will contribute to the overall availability and dependability of our mission-critical data centers' mechanical equipment. In order to assist Amazon in providing better value to its customers, the successful candidates will be expected to have a direct and immediate impact on improving our facilities' resilience, efficiency, and capacities.
Tasks:
- Contributing to the operation and upkeep of the Data Center/Facility's HVAC, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
- This equipment must guarantee an uptime of at least 99.999% for mission-critical servers.
- Create a work plan for critical asset repair in an emergency.
- All mechanical, electrical, and HVAC system troubleshooting under minimal supervision
Maintain changes in state in Mission Critical infrastructure in support of corrective or preventive maintenance Create and close Work Orders with appropriate data, such as labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used in the asset management system Test: Be a first-line responder for hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting. Test the quality, performance, safety, and dependability of products, equipment, and processes. Chemical treatment systems, AHUs, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, VFDs, and building automation systems are all examples of this equipment.

- Experience managing projects Experience implementing and maintaining energy management systems (EnMS) and industry-standard energy efficiency practices
