Principal Obligations:

Overview of duties and responsibilities:

• The Cloud Engineering & Enablement team's activities will be directed and managed by this position. In order to positively influence the solution for United Airlines' consumption and interaction with major cloud providers, this Director will need to be able to review information and make decisions for the team and the organization.
• Keep up to date with current and arising patterns, extraordinarily Joined open doors, and difficulties to all the more likely serve Computerized Innovation groups.
• manages the team that is implementing new cloud services and offers advice to other Digital Technology teams. supports cloud enablement initiatives operationally.
• Policies for using cloud services, managing requests for new technology, setting up a secure cloud environment, and making sure services are available when they should be are all examples of duties.

ensures that the domain is meeting all of its stated goals by directing, coordinating, and evaluating the work performed by the Cloud Engineering & Enablement team. Leads the research, design, and implementation of the appropriate technology needed to support strategic enterprise vision and design for cloud consumption. Partner with application development teams to advise and engineer secure transformative solutions enabling business innovation through cloud services. Partner with Cybersecurity & Digital Risk teams to drive a cyber-focused culture, ensure cybersecurity requirements are embedded in cloud & vulnerabilities managed. Drive programs around monolithic technologies to drive retirement and/or transformation to the cloud. Leads the Center of Excellence, Cloud Steerco, and Cloud Architecture & Enable Although having the "desired" qualifications makes a candidate stronger, we encourage applicants who might not believe they meet all of the requirements! What is necessary to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Experience in cloud solutions strategy and implementation for mid-sized or large organizations (AWS, Azure, or VMWare) Knowledge of storage options, appropriate use cases, and instances uses
