What Tasks Does a Service Associate Perform?
- Show Reliability: Commit to being punctual, present, and available throughout your entire shift each day.
- Handle a High Volume of Contacts: With each shift, you will likely handle 50 to 60 phone calls. This is a highly structured, fast-paced environment. Since you typically have back-to-back calls during your shift, there isn't much downtime in this job.
- Meet Our High-Performance Bar: You'll strive to go above and beyond for the needs of the customers, be exceptional at exceeding customer service efficiency metrics, and perform other duties as requested.
- Customer engagement requires a passion for people. You will represent Wayfair and work to forge connections with clients who get in touch with us via emails, chats, and inbound phone calls. Returns, exchanges, deliveries, product availability, order status, and other subjects are all possible.
- Actively Listen and Demonstrate Empathy: You will demonstrate empathy and actively listen to comprehend customer concerns to fully address their issue. You will then use internal resources to find the best solution.
- De-Escalate Customer Concerns: The majority of our customers get in touch with us because they've encountered a problem and require assistance. - To answer questions quickly and accurately, you'll need to multitask while using a variety of browsers, tabs, tools, and screens. Familiarity with computers and the ability to use technology effectively daily are requirements for the ideal customer service representative.

What conditions must be fulfilled?
- Be able to work a minimum of one weekend day and 20 hours each week.
- The minimum age requirement is 18.
- You must possess a high school diploma, a GED, or an equivalent.
- A modem with a minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps (for downloads) and 5 Mbps (for uploads) will be needed for you to hardwire your computer to it. Wi-Fi access is not allowed to be used. Wayfair provides all other required computer hardware and accessories.
