Duties of the position.

•  Responds in accordance with outlined policies, standard operating procedures, and practices to routine, generic questions and issues that are submitted by clients, medical practices, patients, and third parties via a variety of sources. makes the best choice possible and takes care of client issues using all available information. sends difficult questions and issues to more experienced staff.
•  uses a computer program to record and keep track of inquiries and to check the status of issues that require additional research or the involvement of other people. the details of complaints, interactions with contacts, comments, and actions are recorded.
•  works with other functional areas as necessary. sends escalated, unresolved issues to the departments for more research.
•  Answers questions or informs clients, the patient's doctor, third-party suppliers, or customers of an investigation's findings and upcoming changes.
•  answers questions for one or more business lines.

 An employee in this position can anticipate earning $15.00 per hour plus bonuses in accordance with any bonus plans that may be in place, if any.  Fundamental requirements.

•  GED or high school diploma.
•  Typing speed of at least 25 WPM and document formatting indicate intermediate keyboard skills.
•  the ability to start and shut down a computer, point and click to run programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents, and/or log on to the internet.
•  Basic search engine skills include opening a browser, typing URLs in the appropriate place, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating with the back, forward, and stop buttons, and completing online forms.
•  effective communication in both writing and speaking.

•  You could work from home to complete this task.  Favored Conditions.

•  at least one year's worth of experience offering customer service in a call center or other setting that makes use of centralized services.
•  understanding of retail or medicine.
•  experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including monitoring satisfaction levels and upholding service quality standards.
•  Intermediate level keyboarding ability (at least 35 WPM, touch typing, document formatting).
•  Fluency in both English and Spanish.

 The following information is limited to Colorado and is in accordance with the Colorado Pay Equity Act. An employee in this position in Colorado can anticipate earning an hourly rate between $13.00 and $17.00 plus bonuses in accordance with the terms of any bonus plan, if applicable, depending on experience, seniority, location, and other factors permitted by law.
