Duties of a job include.

•  Process new patient registration by entering data into the appropriate system while adhering to Walgreens' provided data entry procedures and guidelines. Responds to patient prescription requests by HIPAA guidelines and enter refill requests for processing. identifies issues, decodes medical abbreviations (SIG codes), and locates missing prescription data. Every data entry-related exception is fixed.

Makes calls to insurers and other parties to request information, obtain permission for an override, or come up with a different strategy for handling Third Party Rejects.

•  experience providing customer service to both internal and external clients, including assessing client satisfaction and upholding service quality standards.
•  Intermediate to advanced keyboarding skills (touch typing at least 35 words per minute; document formatting).
•  The ability to speak both English and Spanish.
