Non-manufacturing facilities are maintained and soft services are provided to engineering, sales, service, energy, general, and administrative teams by the Workplace Operations team. Through their daily interactions with Tesla employees regarding furniture coordination, events, and numerous other workplace initiatives, Operations Associates play a crucial role in ensuring that Tesla employees have a positive workplace experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform duties and activities at work, such as: Setting up and taking down events, moving furniture, moving employees, and other activities that help run the workplace are all examples.
  •  Construct furniture, arrange for employees to swap it out, and act accordingly.
  •  Work closely with the workplace management team and external moving companies to move office workers between offices and other locations.
  • ·       Keep up with furniture and other work environment resource stock by keeping extra rooms actually coordinated and following stock in the data set for the end goal of determining.
  • Conduct cable management throughout the offices and conference rooms.
  • ·       Lead office reviews and building examinations to guarantee offices are keep up with to explicit guidelines
  • ·       Team up on different working environment project — assemble project necessity, impart project progress to fitting gatherings, record project activities, and execute actually.
  • ·       Coordinate and get working environment conveyances; periodically facilitate deliveries between other locations in the Bay Area.
  •  Perform cross-training with the receptionist and mail associate teams; During times of high demand or when colleagues are off, this position will provide temporary support.

What You Will Bring:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, as is more than one year of corporate experience.
  •  A focus on the customer and a willingness to help clients and other departments at work.
  •  Knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel as well as fundamental computer skills
  •  Strong interest in Facilities and Workplace Operations and advanced knowledge of building and installing furniture systems.
  •  The ability to do minor repairs to facilities, such as painting, hanging wall graphics, and so on.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a professional and mature demeanor when interacting with internal clients, coworkers, management, and vendors.
  •  A valid forklift certification is strongly recommended; Once aboard, it must obtain Tesla-provided training if it is not certified.
  •  The capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • The working week runs from Monday to Friday; however, in order to meet project or schedule demands, employees must be able to work weekends or nights.
