Description.
- Our team concentrates on safeguarding the hardware, firmware, boot ROMs, OS X, and iOS kernels as examples of low-level technologies. As you work with a variety of teams and vendors, your influence will be felt across all of Apple's remarkable products, including the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.
- tasked with foreseeing threats and actively participating in Apple's reaction to emergent urgent issues. The work is as varied as it is significant and includes reverse engineering an exploit, providing insightful analysis, creating state-of-the-art tools, consulting with other teams on both hardware and software, auditing code, and reviewing designs. This position calls for a person with strong technical aptitude and a strong desire to secure systems by demonstrating how they can be compromised.
- You will work in a variety of areas every day to contribute to making Apple's products the most secure on the market. You'll contribute to the evaluation of security-critical hardware and software, the creation of automated vulnerability discovery tools, the development of exploits to test the effectiveness of existing mitigation techniques, and the provision of security design consulting to other teams.

- Base pay, one element of total compensation at Apple, is set within a range. As you gain knowledge and expertise in a position, you have the opportunity to advance. Your base pay for this position will vary from $161,000 to $278,000 depending on your location, skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors.
