Security Engineering and Architecture (SEAR) provides the operating system security foundations for all of Apple's cutting-edge products, including Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV.
As part of our efforts to protect our users, Apple is looking for a top-tier senior threat intelligence analyst to join a group of threat intelligence analysts and security researchers. In order to inform efforts to address security engineering challenges, this team collaborates and works across functional boundaries. Its primary goal is to support choices that provide the highest level of long-term security and privacy. You will have a broad range of skills that will help you succeed as threats continue to evolve if you can analyze cyberthreats to our users' devices. You'll be expected to work closely with security researchers and engineers to develop and rapidly commercialize new security tools and techniques that address the intricate requirements of mobile and distributed computing. * Make proposals for new security technology development.
* Study and understand the sophisticated actors, tools, and techniques used in cyberspace.
Examine and comprehend how exploits are being used in gray markets.
* Collaborate with security researchers to contextualize cyber threat intelligence for decision makers in order to advance solutions.
* Develop cutting-edge defenses against online threats in collaboration with security engineers while preserving user privacy and usability.
* Support cyber threat intelligence-related activities by collaborating closely with outside partners.
* Remote work with sporadically required travel.
