 This position's primary objectives will be research and analysis of rivals who want to hurt Tesla and the broader industry. This person will assist with data collection and analysis projects, threat hunting, and collaboration with partner teams in order to analyze attacks and propose preventative measures within Tesla.

 What You Do.

 • Be aware of, keep track of, and monitor the strategies, tactics, and procedures that threat actors using Tesla and the broader economy use.

 • Design and upkeep of the systems supporting the collection, handling, and analysis of data and raw intelligence should be done collaboratively.

 • Find and keep an eye on adversary tools and infrastructure using datasets from open source and commercial sources.

 • In order to keep track of and perform searches for related activity, examine and analyze malware samples, hacking tools, phishing kits, network packet captures, exploits, and network infrastructure connected to adversaries.

 • Conduct in-depth analyses of attacks, share actionable data with partner teams, and collaborate to create and implement defenses to protect Tesla infrastructure and customers.

 What you're going to bring.

 • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, or a related field with an equivalent level of experience and exceptional ability.

 • A thorough understanding of the threats, attack methods, and life cycle of network attacks.

 • A track record of manually analyzing malware, phishing kits, network captures, exploits, etc.

 • Proficiency in at least one of the languages Go, Ruby, or Python.

 • A track record of success building rules and signatures using frameworks like YARA, Splunk, and Sigma as well as platforms like ELK or Splunk.
