We are looking to expand our security engineering team, which is a part of the Special Programs, Evaluations, Assessments and Response (SPEAR) Team, and are looking for a technical program manager with experience and skill. The duties of this position include driving the roadmap and developing metrics. You'll spend a lot of time using project management software to initiate and oversee projects. To create requirements and support the delivery of security products, you will work with stakeholders. To enhance the security posture of Amazon sites worldwide, this role is remotely based and necessitates travel, which accounts for 15% of travel time on average.
Responsibilities of a job.
As a technical program manager, you will be responsible for managing the numerous multidisciplinary projects that SPEAR has going on.
• By utilizing your security and technical know-how, you will adhere to all deadlines and SPEAR's stringent standards.
• You will serve as a key gateway, collaborating with internal and external security, engineering, and operational teams to make sure that SPEAR's integration with other security programs is carried out synchronously and sustainably.
• To help SPEAR and our stakeholders achieve our mission and raise the bar for AWS physical security, you'll use technology to drive automation, deliver process improvements, and improve stakeholder experiences.
• Directly supervise all projects, campaigns, and programs relating to security.
• Separate security goals into work streams that can be managed and measured.
• Create connections and point engineering teams in the direction of delivery.
• Communicate using status reports and data-filled dashboards.
• Establish roadmaps and list detailed technical specifications.
• Establish priorities and schedules and oversee their implementation.
• Create precise metrics to assess the project's performance and status.
