Our security engineering team, which is a part of the Special Programs, Evaluations, Assessments and Response (SPEAR) Team, is in need of a technical program manager with experience and talent. This position is responsible for developing metrics and guiding roadmaps. You will spend a lot of time using project management software to initiate and oversee projects. You'll work with stakeholders to establish requirements and contribute to the delivery of security products. The amount of travel required for this position, which is remote-based, is typically 15%. To improve the security posture of Amazon sites around the world, you will collaborate with a group of knowledgeable engineers and security experts.
Principal responsibilities of the position.
• You will manage the many interdisciplinary projects that SPEAR is currently engaged in as a technical program manager.
• Using your security and technical expertise, you'll deliver on time and in accordance with SPEAR's exacting standards.
• You will play a key role in ensuring that SPEAR is integrated with other security programs in a timely and long-lasting manner by collaborating with internal and external security, engineering, and operational teams.
• You will use technology to drive automation and deliver process improvements for SPEAR and our stakeholders in order to advance crucial efficiency gains in our mission and raise the bar for AWS physical security.
• Directly manage security campaigns, programs, projects, and initiatives.
• Separate security goals into doable, measurable work streams.
• Establish connections and guide the engineering teams' delivery efforts.
• To communicate, use data-filled dashboards and status reports.
• Develop roadmaps and carefully outline the technical requirements.
• Make recommendations and manage schedules and priorities.
• Create targeted metrics for the project's success and status.
• Exhibit in-depth expertise in risk and security management.
• Identify issues and provide solutions.
