  •  knowledge of just one area of computer science (e.g., Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization, Quantum Information Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, etc. ).

 The preferred credentials are.

  •  in the process of earning a degree in the US.
  •  returning to a full-time degree program after the internship that they are presently enrolled in.
  •  Possessing full-time, lab-based, or internship positions during your research career.
  •  experience participating in research projects or communities, as well as publishing papers at conferences or in journals.
  •  having familiarity with one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g. Python, C/C++, Go, Java, MATLAB, and more. ).
  •  writing and speaking English with ease.
