This position gives you the chance to help shape the future of our store portfolio by investigating new formats, enhancing existing formats, or creating a new store renovation strategy. Although the retail sector has historically experienced rapid change, the amount of change required in our new operating environment has made it even more critical for us to keep up with the fundamental shifts in customer behavior on a scale we have never before experienced at Starbucks. We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of a dynamic, fast-paced team that is working to identify, test, and implement both store development initiatives while relying on data to guide the decision-making process. It will be necessary for this position to identify significant issues, formulate a plan for resolving them, collaborate with numerous cross-functional teams to conduct analyses, develop and deliver management-level recommendations, and implement coordinated programs and initiatives. This is the location to be if you want to have opportunities to be "in the game," complete with flashing lights and lots of attention.
As a strategist, you'll oversee various plans.
