At Marvel Publishing, we are seeking a driven Strategic Planning and Analytics Intern. The opportunity to support leads in our Sales, Metadata Management, and Operations divisions will present in this position, which will report to our Manager, Publishing Finance and Operations.
- The best candidates will be interested in data-driven analysis and curious about understanding the meaning behind statistics and trends. A person who can switch projects quickly and is motivated to learn is best suited for this position.
- The following tasks could be performed in the course of responsibilities:
- regular industry trend reports, which you compile and give to management.
- the Marvel weekly print run procedure with backing for essential components.
- Construct COGS summaries (forecast v. actual) and promote fresh looks.
- Together with the planning team, analyze inventory and sales movement.
- projects to optimize the metadata for the title and the contributor (artist/writer).
Qualifications:
- exceptional writing and speaking abilities.
- knowledgeable about data analysis and a competent problem-solver.
- strong organization and detail-oriented.
- the ability to stay on schedule and change course mid-project.
- Interest in and familiarity with Marvel Comics and/or IP is preferred but not required.

- The resume must also list any additional internships, degrees attained, work experience, relevant clubs and organizations, the current major course of study, the anticipated graduation date, and extracurricular activities.
- You must include a personal introduction in the cover letter along with a schedule of your available days and times for the internship.
- Standing in a junior or senior is preferred.
- GPA total of at least three points.
Learning is essential.
- enrolled in a Bachelor's program by the time of arrival.
- Being a junior or senior in your undergraduate program when you arrive is ideal.
