How you'll conduct yourself.

 Sam's Club's fraud detection team is in need of a Staff Data Scientist. As a staff data scientist, your responsibilities include taking ownership of fraud risks across a variety of product segments and acting as a strategic partner to the product and business teams. You will be required to establish goals, create a strategy, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineers. You will be in charge of spotting altered fraud trends, developing and applying ML models with high-dimensional, quickly paced real-time datasets, and encouraging innovation in spotting and preventing fraud across various channels.

 You must complete the following.

  •  Create models for detecting fraud using machine learning in areas like return abuse, account takeover (ATO), online shopping, and club payment fraud.
  •  Transforming fraud business problems into data science solutions requires collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
  •  Develop highly scalable ML models and algorithms for big data mining, graph modeling, and other fields.
  •  Working with engineering teams, implement the model pipeline and widely deploy the service.
  •  Address system issues as soon as they arise and fully investigate their causes.

  •  the development of machine learning systems for large-scale production using practical knowledge from the market.
  •  possessing knowledge of the programming languages used to manipulate data and derive insights from large data sets (e. g. MySQL, Python, etc. ).
