We're looking for a successful Sales Leader who is well-versed in VDI and Contact Center as a Service technology to lead Amazon Connect's eastern US CXE business. The person who gets the job will have done well throughout their career and built strong, long-term relationships with F1000 or G2000 companies. This leader will play a variety of roles, including market maker, operator, and general manager. He or she will develop a long-term strategy that is centered on outcome-based selling, winning new customer segments, and growing existing customer segments.
- You should also have experience in the market development of cloud infrastructure and/or enterprise applications as a self-starter who is willing to work in multiple capacities. The ideal candidate must be capable of carrying out important business initiatives and possess top-notch leadership abilities.
- In order to help secure lighthouse customers, boost top-line revenue for new services, and establish strategic partnerships, the position will require collaboration with the ecosystem as a whole. This presents an exciting opportunity to steer AWS's strategy for Amazon Connect in the eastern United States' go-to-market definition and implementation.
You will be responsible for driving strategic:
- workloads to improve technical and business relationships with partners and customers. You will devote your time to building mechanisms that will enable the field organization to drive the day-to-day interactions that identify prospects for long-term business opportunities and develop the high-performing sales team.
- You will focus on developing repeatable, packaged solutions to solve customer problems, scaling existing AWS services, delivering workload/solution-specific domain expertise to the broader field organization, and incubating new AWS Productivity Applications services.
- Your findings will influence product teams to help them develop products and address issues, concerns, and requests from the field because you are the customer's voice.
- Key customer insights from business drivers, market trends, customer feedback, and operating metrics must be analyzed and determined for success.
You will be answerable for laying out clear objectives for your group, including standards. Throughout the sales cycle, you must ensure that your team is effectively managing opportunities and maintaining a clean pipeline. In order to meet goals and quotas, you will be expected to plan and allocate team resources in the most efficient manner.

- East AWS Corporate offices or U.S. East remote locations will be considered.
Fundamental Capabilities:
- Four year college education
- 5+ long periods of involvement with deals/deals the executives in foundation or cloud innovation driving an immediate or circuitous record group and experience driving pioneers with demonstrated results
- Initiative involvement with a client confronting job in the CX/VDI innovation industry
Favored Capabilities:
- MBA/Specialized Graduate degree
- Remarkable human administration abilities; able to motivate, encourage, and coach others to develop strong relationship-building and sales skills Experience working with new product/service development teams and their outbound functions Track record of building rapport with senior customer executives (such as CEO, CIO, and CTO), building close relationships, and helping customers execute on large engagements.
- able to inspire and foster the right behaviors in others through leading by example (Player/Coach).
- Successfully negotiated complex deals with partners and customers
- Strong CX background with a history of growing a Contact Center, VDI, or Unified Communications business. Experience carrying quotas while consistently exceeding them by doing the right thing for customers. Motivated self-starter, proactive, and action-oriented. Strategic problem-solving and collaboration skills.
