The Sr. A Multiplayer Software Engineer will work on many different projects and assume many different roles, such as real-time multiplayer implementation, UI implementation, pipeline and tool development, artificial intelligence, special effects, third-party tech integrations, and many others, all while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of talented designers, artists, and engineers in a cool office environment.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

•  Working on significant multiplayer features with a focus on the Photon Networking Framework is anticipated.
•  Find the most effective techniques for making multiplayer games, promote them, and train other engineers in them.
•  Take part in the code review and technology design processes.
•  Work cross-disciplinary teams to complete features from conception to completion.
•  To finish the features from the original concept, collaborate across engineering specialties.
•  Working with other engineers, create tools and processes that improve output and quality.
•  Technical specifications should be established before implementation in cooperation with other teams and senior engineers.
•  Keep up-to-date on the platforms, frameworks, programming languages, and APIs required to support the game project(s), with an emphasis on taking ownership of the multiplayer technologies.
•  assist in writing and updating feature documentation.
•  Work with senior engineers to maintain a shared tech library.
•  Establish a reputation for dependability, accountability, and professionalism in all interactions pertaining to your work.
•  Drive coding standards and best practices in cooperation with senior engineers.

 Abilities and skills.

•  Strong programming skills in the appropriate environment(s), including command of C and the Photon Networking Framework.
•  Possibility of performing a fair code review as part of a formal review procedure.
•  knowledge of programs for version control, such as Perforce or Git.
•  a capability for collaboration and effective communication with other engineers, designers, and artists.

 Education and experience.

•  A degree in engineering, math, computer science, or a related field is required, as is equivalent professional experience.
•  knowledge of at least one game that was released using the Photon Networking Framework.
•  knowledge of the game industry and mobile development in a related role.
•  understanding of the lifecycle and processes of software development.
•  knowledge of live service maintenance.
•  experience using Unity to create 3D games.
•  knowledge of a program similar to Jira, Confluence, or another one of its kind.
