Minimum specifications are:

•  choosing to enroll in a Ph.D. program with a focus on software development or other related technical fields.
•  experience in software development and coding in C/C++, Java, or Python.
•  data structures or algorithms that have been learned over time, whether at work or in school.

 Preferred credentials consist of.

•  enrolled in a degree program in the US and able to work full-time for a minimum of 12 weeks outside the academic year.
•  either returning to a degree program after completing an internship or in their second to last academic year.
•  specialization in algorithms, architecture, AI, compilers, databases, data mining, distributed systems, machine learning, networking, or systems research.
•  having information about software design, algorithms, and data structures.
•  programming knowledge of at least one of the following languages: C/C++, C, Java, JavaScript, Python, Objective C, Go, or closely related ones.
•  ability to speak and write English with ease.
