What You'll Do.
- For firmware or software component updates on Linux hosts or connected peripherals, deliver high reliability C/Go code.
- Working together with a variety of teams, design, develop, and integrate new software update mechanisms and flow.
- While closely collaborating with our validation teams to address update issues, construct testing infrastructure for more resilient systems.
- To find potential issues and suggest fixes, analyze fleet update metrics.
What You'll Bring.
- possess the required EE, CE, or CS credentials, or have the corresponding experience and exceptional ability.
- Long-term experience using and developing software for embedded Linux systems; familiarity with software/kernel updates is a plus.
- knowledge of C/Go programming.
- Python, Perl, and Bash scripting expertise.
- knowing how to deploy software securely requires knowledge of authenticated encryption, software code signing, or other cryptographic techniques.
- Excellent ability to debug and troubleshoot.
- Experience in network programming is preferred, with a focus on TFTP, HTTP(s), websockets, or integrating custom TCP/IP protocols.
- Knowing the serial, I2C, and SPI protocols would be beneficial.
