Weaknesses in our ad systems result in the delivery of advertisements that are irrelevant, repetitive, or worsen the viewing experience for other reasons, which can have a negative impact on revenue.  Some of the duties include:.

  •  To fully grasp Disney's complex ecosystem, closely collaborate with software engineers.
  •  Make automated test frameworks and suites for the UI, API, and integration testing levels using Python or another OO language.
  •  Participate in platform design discussions to help shape the platform's future development and enable it to support testing scenarios that are more complex, resulting in easier defect detection and prevention.
  •  With your help, problems that are discovered by different teams will be triaged, diagnosed, and resolved.
  •  Attend end-to-end acceptance tests.
  •  Create and execute manual test cases as necessary to discover issues that cannot be discovered automatically.
  •  Encourage the automation of manual tests whenever possible.

 These are the prerequisites:.

  •  A minimum of five years of practical experience in developing both functional and non-functional software tests is necessary.
  •  driving with passion the testing industry's best practices.
  •  Python or another OO language mastery is required.
  •  familiarity with software engineering principles and agile methodologies.
  •  strong desire to establish and improve product quality.
  •  understanding of building or improving frameworks for test automation.
  •  proficiency with pipeline development in Spinnaker, Jenkins, or other tools of a similar nature, as well as CICD integration.
  •  automation of the user interface (Selenium, Robot, Watir) knowledge.
  •  Gherkin comprehension (BDD/TDD).
  •  ability to work as a team and have the courage to face challenges.
  •  A bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering, computer science, information systems, software, or a related field of study is required, as is equivalent work experience.

 The annual salary range for this position is $107,256 to $165,440. The base pay actually offered will be determined by internal equity, and it may also vary depending on the candidate's location, knowledge, skills, and experience in relation to the position, among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be included in the compensation package in addition to the full range of monetary, medical, and/or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
