 Responsibilities of the position.

•  Plans, designs, develops, and tests software applications or systems for new products, such as internet- or cloud-based tools, software upgrades, and software enhancements.

 Basic prerequisites.

•  hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related field of study, and have at least four years of relevant professional experience in engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
•  the ability to create applications of moderate complexity.
•  understanding of the programming languages used to create online, microservices, and mobile applications.
•  experience in design, build, and automation for applications of average complexity.
•  Creating deployment or automation test scripts in the past.
•  coding or scripting expertise for solving moderately complex problems.
•  an understanding of identifying operational issues and formulating and implementing solutions.
•  willing to travel for work up to/at least 10% of the time, both inside and outside the state.

 Preferred qualifications.

•  knowing where to look for operational issues and how to create, suggest, and implement solutions.
