  • Apple Cloud Security Red Team, the group in charge of the iCloud services and the infrastructure that underpins them, is looking for security specialists to work with engineering groups creating crucial services. You will collaborate with developers, site reliability engineers, and security teams to protect ACS.
  •  End-to-end security assurance tasks, such as *extensive* manual security testing, will be entirely your responsibility. At Apple, highly qualified security experts are referred to as Red Teams. The primary focus of the ACS Security Red Team's deep technical security review work is the vital ACS services and infrastructure. In this role, you will conduct targeted and scoped pentests, identifying new security holes and identifying chances for systemic improvement. You will support goal-oriented Red Team exercises by outlining vulnerabilities within relevant attack surfaces.
  •  You will maintain the security of Apple's services for our clients by collaborating with partner teams in security engineering, privacy, detection, and design review. If you enjoy exploring a complex and important system and gradually increasing its security, we want to talk to you.

 Essential Conditions.

  •  six years or more of experience in software engineering or information security.
  •  Over the course of four or more of those years, fresh security flaws in the infrastructure and applications of Linux and cloud environments have been discovered and exploited.
  •  knowledge of cloud computing and Linux security.
  •  extensive knowledge in the fields of application security, cloud computing, infrastructure, or any combination of these.
  •  the ability to discuss security of large-scale applications or infrastructure rationally.

 You will specify the job's parameters and direct focused security audits of crucial internet-scale applications and supporting infrastructure. By applying the knowledge you gain from these engagements to define, document, and automate security best practices, you'll help raise the bar for security for all Apple engineering teams. You'll also promote platform-wide security improvements. Due to our services' testing and hardening, expect challenging vulnerabilities.

Your base pay for this job will fall between $144,500 and $250,000 depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and other factors.
