 You Will Need These.

  •  I have over seven years of experience managing software products, with a focus on data-driven product discovery. a background in technical product work and project management across organizations.
  •  You have experience managing platforms and can identify generic capabilities that meet the particular needs of clients, transforming ideas into a vision and a roadmap for the platform's potential.
  •  You can participate in highly technical discussions and collaborate effectively with your engineers to design the architecture.
  •  working with a clientele that consists primarily of teams from within the company and has knowledge of or an interest in product managing development platforms.
  •  an understanding of working at scale (with a large number of developers and web traffic).
  •  Understanding performance and quality issues (latency, scalability, availability, and flame graphs).
  •  Strong communication skills; able to interact comfortably with engineers as well as explain difficult technical concepts to audiences who are not technically savvy.
  •  knowledge of federated GraphQL, also referred to as GraphQL, federation, Apollo, gateway, router, schema registry, and operation registry.
  •  knowledge of changing to service-based architectures.
  •  an understanding of the OKR planning model in use, as well as the capacity to define KPIs for development platforms.

 The salary range for this position is $161,000 to $172,000, but the base pay offered may differ depending on the location, knowledge, skills, and experience relevant to the job. Along with restricted stock units, the compensation package may also include a full array of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position being offered. This information must be provided, per the California Equal Pay Act.

 This position is open to candidates in Boston, Mountain View, Austin, Seattle, or Toronto. It's also completely remote, so that's another qualification.
