What We Are.
Everyone has a right to live in a home they love, claims Wayfair. We are by far the largest platform for homes that prioritizes technology. Our marketplace currently has over 30 million products from 23,000 suppliers, and we served 22 million customers in 2022 alone.
You will use your technical, leadership, and product-craft expertise as a product leader for the Storefront company to provide all of our customers—past and present—with an exceptional shopping experience. On a technology team, you'll be in charge of superlatively talented and dedicated engineers, designers, user researchers, and analysts. You'll have an impact on our technological culture, collaborate with others, serve as a mentor, create fresh ideas, and advance your career. Help us achieve our ultimate goal of becoming the go-to resource for all things pertaining to the home and of assisting anyone, anywhere, in achieving a sense of home by joining us in this endeavor.
Using cutting-edge hardware, our GraphQL Platforms team is building one of the core data platforms that will power all of Wayfair's frontends. Despite the fact that Wayfair is still early in the GraphQL transition, the federated ecosystem already handles more than 10 billion requests each month. The larger federated GraphQL specification has been influenced by the participation of the Wayfair GraphQL team in community events and conferences. By taking the job, you will have the chance to promote the use of this system and teach others how to maintain incredibly performant, dependable, and scalable systems. You will learn how to convince a variety of senior leaders from various industries with the help of your manager. The team is truly amazing, to sum it up. They are fervent, smart, and entertaining, and they embody the team's values of creativity, openness, and constant enjoyment.
