 Principal duties:.

 Responsibilities and a general description of the position.

  •  As United Airlines' Senior Manager of Enterprise Vulnerability and Asset Management, it is your duty to find, evaluate, address, and report vulnerabilities in order to protect our airline and its customers. Our goal is to actively find flaws and address them in a risk-based manner in order to protect United's systems, networks, and data from cyber-attacks.
  •  Manage a team of analysts (from associate to senior) who assist teams working on applications and infrastructure to quickly fix vulnerabilities.
  •  Control dashboards and reports for vulnerability metrics and redress.
  •  possess, supervise, and manage vendor relationships and vulnerability scanning tools.

 Qualifications.

 What is necessary to succeed (Minimum Requirements):.

  •  Bachelor's in STEM.
  •  at least seven years of relevant experience in the design, implementation, and management of enterprise vulnerability management, or five years of experience plus a master's degree.
  •  Nine years or more of relevant experience.
  •  understanding of NIST, MITRE, the top 10 OWASP vulnerabilities, and other cybersecurity best practices and frameworks.
  •  having owned and managed scanning equipment in the past (DAST, SAST, continuous monitoring, etc. ).
  •  prior understanding of vulnerability reporting and management techniques or tools.
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  •  Self-starters are needed.
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a methodical, organized approach, excellent communication, and a developed sense of interpersonal skills should all be shown.
  •  Without sponsorship, one must be legally able to work in the US for any employer.
  •  You must succeed in the interview in order to be considered for the position.
  •  As a crucial responsibility of the job, attendance must be reliable and on time.

  •  expert level.
  •  preference for those with previous leadership experience.
  •  CISSP, Security+, CVA, CEH, or other relevant certifications.
  •  possessing experience with managing vendors.
  •  prior knowledge of bug bounty and vulnerability disclosure schemes.
  •  knowledge of system development or administration.
