An exciting opportunity exists for a SENIOR MANAGER OF DANGEROUS GOODS COMPLIANCE - USA to develop regulatory compliance plans, programs, and strategies for DHL Global Forwarding's (DGF) corporate and field offices. This important position reports to the U. Head of S.'s export and dangerous goods compliance division.
Among the principal responsibilities are.
- Take the initiative for the program and act as the strategic leader or as the strategic direction of the Dangerous Goods Training Approach.
- Ascertain the currentness of all documentation, processes, resources, and channels of communication for the US dangerous goods compliance program.
- Collaboration with the Compliance Governance function is needed to develop crucial Dangerous Goods Compliance Metrics further.
- oversees automation and modernization initiatives to deliver the best equipment for handling dangerous goods shipments.
- Through collaborations with sector sales teams, DGF US's dangerous goods capabilities are shown to be valuable.
- identifies and researches any new or proposed laws that could affect DGF's business operations.
- takes part in trade associations to ensure compliance with dangerous goods.
- answering questions about compliance from the station and the customer.
Skills and qualifications include:.
- a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or at least ten years of relevant work experience.
- showed initiative for the project.
- demonstrated mastery of deployment automation.
- Innovation and creative thinking are needed to solve the most complex and strategic issues facing DGF.
- Strong ability to speak on behalf of the company in the riskiest and/or most complicated technical or business negotiations.
