Job Details:
Procure to Pay (PTP) from Disney Worldwide Shared Services ensures that our Enterprise partners receive global support and services that are timely, accurate, and compliant with corporate guidelines, as well as federal, state, and local market regulations. Procure to Pay collaborates closely with partners from a variety of business units or functions, including finance, treasury, general accounting, IT, and partners from other business units or functions, in order to continuously improve service and processes, reduce processing costs, guarantee compliance, and improve economies of scale in payment procedures and processes.
The Disney Worldwide Services Senior Manager, PTP EMEA Region position will play a crucial leadership role in directing a team that is in charge of implementing the EMEA PTP support center strategy, providing services to both internal and external customers, directing and influencing stakeholders, leading large projects and system integrations, developing operational and statutory reporting, and managing the transaction processing team. The accomplishments resulting from operational cost reductions, enhanced user experiences, compliance with company policy and statutory requirements, and providing value to our global stakeholders will be the responsibility of this position.
The Opportunities and Obligations:
Create and develop an organization to support the DWSS central purchasing strategy Manage a third-party outsourcing provider in Krakow, Poland Lead expansion/integration of emerging markets into the DWSS support model Execute on the EMEA STP Transformation strategy Lead standardization of processes, controls, and technology platforms Identify opportunities to leverage automation and self-service applications to drive savings Influence Stakeholder via meaningful data analytics and effective storytelling Create and share business cases with regional and local Controllership Develop and lead EMEA Stakeholder engagement strategy
Ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex business issues and frame up solutions Demonstrates problem-solving skills, as well as skills in the continuous improvement process.
