•  Wells Fargo has an opening for a senior information security engineer.

 In this capacity, you will.

•  RACF/DB2, CICS, and zSecure offer intricate technical analysis and support for mainframe security in a sizable, complicated Multi-LPAR RACF environment using RRSF (RACF Remote Sharing Facility).
•  Work with internal staff and end-user staff to define any necessary customized access solutions, reporting, notification, and data gathering.
•  carrying out production-related on-call duties.
•  participates in the creation, testing, design, and implementation of sophisticated computer security and protection technologies for use in business information, systems, and applications.
•  performs routine in-depth analyses of the security configuration of the operating system and infrastructure components to identify security flaws and provide fixes for them.
•  participates in the evaluation of vendor proposals, developing security systems, and reviewing both new and old security plans.
•  An alternative role might involve using current zSeries skills to work on mainframe security remediation projects.
•  The investigation, analysis, design, testing, and implementation of security solutions while adhering to the Wells Fargo methodology, either leading or assisting senior engineers.
•  leads or supports senior level engineers in analysis to identify security vulnerabilities and security risk assessments to guarantee adherence to corporate security policies and best practices.
•  aids in incident response and technical investigations into security-related incidents.
•  Give technical direction to staff who lack experience.

 Necessary qualifications:.

•  4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent, as demonstrated by any one or a combination of the following: training, education, work experience, and/or military service.
•  4+ years of experience working with software and systems for information security.
•  4 or more years of experience identifying and resolving mainframe security risks.
•  Experience with the Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) for at least the most recent version that is still supported (z/OS 2.3 and above) for four or more years.
•  Mainframe security expertise with at least four years' worth of experience using RACF and native z/OS tools.
•  4+ years of experience diagnosing and RACF command sending.
•  JCL (Job Control Language) experience of four or more years.
•  Four or more years of TSO (Time Sharing Options) experience.

 The following requirements apply.

•  knowledge of the zSecure tool.
•  practical expertise in security engineering in a complex, multi-node z/OS environment.
•  REXX and/or Assembler coding expertise is required.
•  high level of technical proficiency in information security, as well as familiarity with security protocols and rules.
•  the ability to handle challenging issues and find solutions.
•  superior writing and speaking communication skills.

•  Base Salary Band for New York. NY - $84,000.00 - $149,400.00 USD annually.
