 Principal Tasks:

 Summary of the position's duties.

 United Airlines' efforts to develop cloud security capabilities are supported by the Senior Architect - Cloud Cybersecurity. A multidisciplinary cyber team that is in charge of the full-stack security architecture will include you. The Architect will work with the product, platform, engineering, and operations teams to ensure the adoption of security standard methodologies throughout the entire application or system lifecycle. They will also collaborate on the creation and maintenance of security-relevant documentation. Our cyber controls, as well as the playbooks, workflows, processes, and procedures that go along with them, will be constantly improved thanks to the role.

•  While collaborating closely with partner organizations and other cybersecurity teams, develop and promote security and resilience architecture strategies, frameworks, and patterns.
•  Actively collaborate with collaborators to comprehend business needs and create security and resilience guiding principles to ensure enterprise and industry standard methodologies are adopted.
•  demonstrates expert technology competence in at least two of the following areas: identity management, zero trust, resilience, infrastructure, platform, product, endpoint, and data security.
•  Provides appropriate remediation or risk reduction plans after analyzing technical risks of existing network/system and application architectures (IAAS/PAAS/SAAS and on-premises) about corresponding policies and risks.
•  contributes to the development and application of security standards and frameworks.
•  Development and engineering teams should receive training and coaching on how to integrate CI/CD pipeline tools, test plans, and tools for assessing cloud vulnerabilities.
•  Promote secure infrastructure-as-code to ensure the overall success of the IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments and to enable end-to-end configuration.
•  Threat modeling, end-to-end security assessment, design and development of cloud security policies, standards, and procedures for various kinds of public, private, and hybrid clouds.

 Qualifications.

 What is required for success (Minimum Requirements):.

•  4+ years of technical experience specifically with AWS.
•  knowledge of the management, governance, and security services offered by AWS.
•  Experience with the creation, improvement, and application of security technologies, such as identity and access management, network security, and application and data security.
•  strong expertise in cloud computing technologies.

•  The Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is aware of the procedures that surround developer and DevOps experiences, including code compilation, system image build (containers, system images), continuous integration, continuous deployment, and the tests and validations that take place during those processes.

 4+ years of technical experience, 3 of which were specifically in the cloud.

 CCIE, CCDE, or another vendor's equivalent.

 GIAC Family, CISM, CRISC, CEH, etc.
