 Among the principal responsibilities are.

•  The development of United Airlines' cloud security capabilities is supported by the Senior Architect for Cloud Cybersecurity. You will be responsible for the full stack security architecture as a member of an interdisciplinary cyber team. The Architect will collaborate with the engineering, operations, product, platform, and platform teams to produce and maintain security-related documentation while ensuring the adoption of security standard methodologies throughout the entire lifecycle of the application or system. Thanks to the role, our cyber controls and the playbooks, workflows, processes, and procedures that go with them will be continuously improved.
•  Create and advance security and resilience architecture strategies, frameworks, and patterns while cooperating with partner organizations and other cybersecurity teams.
•  To ensure adoption of business and industry standard practices, closely collaborate with collaborators to understand business needs and develop resilience and security principles that support them.
•  demonstrates expert technology competence in at least two of the following fields: identity management, zero trust, resilience, infrastructure, platform, product, endpoint, and data security.
•  Examine the technical risks associated with the current network/system and application architectures (IAAS/PAAS/SAAS and on-premises) in relation to the corresponding policies and risks, and provide appropriate risk reduction or remediation plans.

•  Educate and mentor engineering and development teams to adopt CI/CD pipeline tools, test plans, and cloud vulnerabilities assessment tools.

•  knowing how network traffic moves and how to analyze packets.
•  The Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) is aware of the processes that surround the developer and DevOps experience, from code compilation to system image build (containers, system images), continuous integration, and continuous deployment, as well as the tests and validations that occur during those processes.
