 The Senior Architect - Cloud Cybersecurity for United Airlines supports initiatives to create cloud security capabilities. You will be a part of a multidisciplinary cyber team in charge of the full stack security architecture. The Architect in this role will work with the platform, engineering, and operations teams to ensure the adoption of security standard methodologies throughout the entire lifecycle of the application or system. They will also create and maintain security-related documentation. The position will help to improve our cyber controls and related playbooks, workflows, processes, and procedures on a continuous basis.

•  Develop and spread security and resilience architecture strategies, frameworks, and patterns with help from other cybersecurity teams and partner organizations.
•  Actively work with collaborators to comprehend business requirements and develop guiding security and resilience principles in order to ensure adoption of industry and enterprise standard methodologies.
•  demonstrates expert technology competence in two or more domains, such as identity management, zero trust, and security of data and endpoints as well as infrastructure, platform, product, and endpoints.
•  Examine the technical risks associated with the current network/system and application architectures (IAAS/PAAS/SAAS and on-premises) in relation to the associated policies and risks, and provide appropriate remediation or risk reduction plans.
•  supports the creation and application of security frameworks and standards.
•  The integration of test plans, CI/CD pipeline tools, and tools for identifying cloud vulnerabilities should be taught to and coached for by development and engineering teams.
•  Promote secure infrastructure-as-code to ensure the general success of the IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
•  Threat modeling, end-to-end security evaluation, and the design and development of cloud security standards, guidelines, and practices for different kinds of public, private, and hybrid clouds are all examples of cloud security best practices.

 Qualifications.

 The fundamental conditions for success are as follows:.

•  technical expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS) dating back at least four years.
•  familiarity with AWS's management, governance, and security services.
•  Knowledge of the development, enhancement, and use of security technologies, such as identity and access management, network security, and application and data security.
•  strong technical knowledge of cloud computing.
•  friendly character with the ability to effectively lead or work as a team member.
•  strong writing and speaking skills in communication.
•  strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
•  programming language structure and logic.
•  understanding of common enemy tactics, strategies, and techniques.
•  knowing how network traffic moves and how to analyze packets.
•  The Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) is aware of the steps that surround developer and DevOps experience, such as code compilation, system image build (containers, system images), continuous integration, continuous deployment, and the tests and validations that occur during those processes.

•  GIAC Family, CISM, CRISC, CEH, and.
•  Security in Kubernetes and CKA.
