 Essential Conditions.

•  understanding how to use static and dynamic analysis to find security vulnerabilities.
•  the ability to exploit software.
•  background in programming using C and C++.

 Description.

•  In every stage of our products' lives, the Red Team of Security Engineering and Architecture is leading the charge to attack them. Our team spends time investigating and creating proof-of-concept exploits for vulnerabilities discovered in the OS stack beginning at the lowest levels of software in order to test new security measures and always be one step ahead.
•  By working with teams of software and hardware engineering from across the organization, we are actively involved in the design and implementation of both software mitigations and hardware mechanisms upon which we can base world-class defenses.
•  Your responsibilities as a Red Team engineer will involve practical auditing, writing code (at the kernel level, for runtimes, and for system services/components), developing exploits to bypass existing mitigations, and promoting security technologies throughout Apple's engineering organizations.

 Training and real-world experience.

•  a degree from an undergraduate or graduate program (or an experience level equivalent).

 One element of Apple's total compensation is base pay, which is subject to a number of options. As you gain expertise and experience in a position, you have the opportunity to advance. Your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location will all affect your base pay for this job. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,000 to $278,000 per year.
