Working under close supervision, in charge of a heavy volume of incoming and outgoing calls with clients, medical practices, patients, or other third parties regarding the company's goods or services. ensures that each contact receives prompt, polite service. Duty assignments may change depending on the department.
Requirements for the position.
- Responds in a consistent manner, in accordance with established policies, SOPs, and procedures, to routine, generic questions and issues that are submitted by clients, doctors' offices, patients, and third parties through a variety of sources. uses all available information to determine the best course of action and respond to client concerns. sends difficult questions and problems to higher-ranking staff members.
- utilizes a computer program to keep track of requests, log them, and check the status of requests that require further action or the involvement of other parties. records details of complaints, interactions with contacts, comments, and actions.
- Coordinates with other functional areas as necessary. delegates escalated, unresolved issues to the departments for further investigation.
- Answers questions or informs clients, the patient's physician, third-party suppliers, or customers of an investigation's conclusions and upcoming changes.
- answers inquiries for a single or multiple business lines.

Minimum standards.
- a GED or a high school diploma.
- Intermediate level keyboarding skills (touch typing, document formatting, at least 25 WPM).
- basic computer skills, such as how to turn on and off a computer, point and click a mouse to open and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents, and/or access online information.
- Basic search engine skills include opening a browser, typing URLs in the appropriate place, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating with the back, forward, and stop buttons, and filling out online forms.
- Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

- Remote work is possible for this position. Preferred qualifications.
- a year's worth of experience working in call centers or centralized services.
- experience in the retail or medical industries.
- experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including assessing customer satisfaction and meeting service quality standards.
- Intermediate level keyboarding skills (touch typing, at least 35 WPM, document formatting).
- Spanish and English fluency.
