Summary.
In order to monitor the effectiveness of Allegiant Air's aircraft reliability and maintenance program, the reliability analyst's responsibilities also include data analysis, reporting, and data mining on aircraft systems and components.

- • Continue to adhere to the D074 Reliability Program requirements established by the FAA and Allegiant Airline's Airlines RPM.
- • Arrange with OEM (Airbus and component vendors) the reporting of reliability data.
- • Gather, verify, and categorize data on the data elements required by the reliability program before deciding the best course of action.
- • Perform root cause analyses on data to assess the fleet's and the aircraft's performance in terms of safety, dependability, and economic impact, as well as to identify weaknesses in the maintenance program.
- • Analyze and evaluate PIREPs, delays, cancellations, and component performance data to assess the performance of aircraft in terms of safety and financial impact.
- • Develops and presents statistical data overviews, performance analysis, and trend analysis.
- • Manage, update, and track the data used to pinpoint Chronic Discrepancies, and when necessary, provide key stakeholders with new and updated data.
- • Use tools for data visualization, such as Tableau, to produce reports, interact with business intelligence, and build data models.
- • Maintain your filing system and database for Trend and Alert Reporting. This entails regular trend analysis of pilot reports and mechanical interruptions in addition to a monthly review of the aircraft systems and components for performance excellence.
- • Analyzing vendor tear down reports for overhaul and repair discoveries and maintaining a tear down database and filing system.
- • Analyze negative reliability trends using service bulletins, service information letters, and other manufacturer's documents to help engineering and other departments come up with solutions.
- • Maintain an FAA reporting system, a report filing system, and a database for mechanical reliability reports.
- • Maintain a filing system and database for Service Difficulty Reports, as well as carry out FAA reporting.
- • Examine the maintenance and inspection intervals and make any necessary adjustments. Analyzing aircraft systems and components to determine whether inspection intervals need to be changed is an illustration of this. Evaluation, disassembly, and reporting of findings are required to determine whether the maintenance frequency needs to be adjusted. To identify areas that require better maintenance or inspection, C-check evaluations or work orders are used. Assess and report engine trends using the engine trend monitoring program.
