Responsibility list in brief.
The development, oversight, and reporting of the pricing and inventory strategies for our premium products (First Class and Premium Class) is solely the responsibility of the Principal Premium Strategy. This role, as the only contributor, develops the long-term revenue management strategy for our premium products. It requires a great deal of discretion and initiative to develop and maintain efficient pricing and inventory strategies as well as reporting to generate premium revenues that are among the highest in the sector.
Vital Tasks.
- Defines and implements long-term premium pricing and inventory strategies for our First Class and Premium Class products, working with Loyalty, E-commerce, Sales, Marketing, and Distribution.
- We continuously monitor, maintain, and improve our dynamic premium upsell strategies. We assess market level performance, and where necessary, propose course correction, to ensure that we meet our projected product revenue targets.
- You are in charge of developing and observing KPIs, handling the budget, and forecasting for First Class and Premium Class products through the RM lens.
- Expert and go-to person for Alaska Air Group (AAG) with knowledge of pricing, inventory, product/promotional offerings, revenue, and financial performance.
- possessing a thorough knowledge of Alaska's strategy, as well as being an authority on dashboards and tools. examines potential innovative pricing, inventory, and technology opportunities that could support revenue growth over the next one to three years.
- oversees the entire project lifecycle and develops project schedules and plans for projects involving premium pricing and inventory. pursues business growth and holds other stakeholders accountable for SLAs.

Required.
- 7 years of expertise in a related area, such as operations research, forecasting, analytics, or revenue management.
- a bachelor's degree with a concentration in mathematics, economics, statistics, business (or a closely related field), or two additional years of relevant training or experience.
- proven proficiency with Revenue Management tools and systems.
- demonstrated capacity to locate and seize revenue opportunities.
- Experience in project management that has been proven, including advancing goals and keeping tabs on them.
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to gather, arrange, organize, analyze, interpret, and disseminate information with accuracy and attention to detail.
- ability to influence others without being given explicit authority.

Salary Levels.
- $112,400 - $174,200 / year.

While balancing internal equity in relation to other Alaska/Horizon employees, pay will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to location, relevant experience/level, and skillset.
