 Duty of the post.

•  develops programs that are industry-best or the most technically advanced to protect the integrity of digital networks, systems, applications, and data. the organization's digital network, systems, applications, and data integrity by taking the initiative to design, improve, create, run, and automate crucial information security solutions and processes.
•  provides defensive coding guidance and threat predictions to internal development teams in order to find software vulnerabilities.
•  Organizes meetings with customers and internal business partners to design and develop information security requirements and conduct risk analyses.
•  Provides technical leadership on incredibly challenging security projects to tackle the more challenging security issues.
•  reviews third-party applications, contracts, and service providers, and participates in intricate security risk evaluations.
•  abides by any amendments to the laws and rules pertaining to security.
•  develops technical or business strategies, as well as new or enhanced technical tools, or may take the initiative in doing so.
•  proactive assessment of potential risks and openings for network and system vulnerabilities.

 Fundamental prerequisites.

•  a bachelor's degree and at least six years of experience in IT security OR a high school diploma or GED and at least nine years of IT security experience.
•  a minimum of four years' experience working with security guidelines, protocols, vulnerability assessment tools, packet analyzers, scripting languages, security management suites, penetration testing tools, and web application mitigation strategies.
•  a background in identity engineering, security applications engineering, or security infrastructure engineering.
•  relationships with individuals across all organizational levels, in the business world, and with suppliers.
•  executive level interactional proficiency.
•  having spent at least two years contributing to financial decisions at work.
•  a minimum of three years' experience leading teams in a direct, indirect, or cross-functional capacity.
•  Willing to travel for work-related purposes up to or at least 10% of the time, both inside and outside the state.

•  a thorough knowledge of cloud security principles and practical experience with them.
•  knowledge of the identity and access management field.

•  It is strongly preferred that candidates have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or mathematics.

•  Experience reporting and analyzing data to find problems, trends, or exceptions to drive results improvement and find solutions.
