 Delta is establishing a brand-new Developer Experience division. The technology development teams at Delta are always working to make sure that our technology offers the best experience for both our customers and our employees. We are forming a business with the Delta developers as OUR customers to enable these development teams to concentrate on providing value to our customers. This business will focus on creating products to improve the daily experience of our developers. The Developer Experience (DX) organization's IT Manager is in charge of team leadership, mentoring, coaching, and spreading the company's technology leadership culture among the team members. The IT Manager will lead a team that is in charge of offering cloud-based solutions for strategic products, increasing developer productivity and freeing them up to concentrate on their own products. To better understand the needs of their user base and encourage the use of their products, this position will work in collaboration with peer level roles across the IT organization.

 Among the duties are:.

  •  Encourage Delta stakeholders and DX employees to adopt a product-focused culture.
  •  Take the initiative, delegate tasks, keep tabs on the team's development, and mentor less seasoned and younger team members to organize team activities.
  •  oversee/manage all aspects, such as coaching, giving instructions, hiring staff, delivering performance reviews, setting mutually supportive goals, time reporting, etc. Quick reports' overall performance.
  •  Make extensive connections to raise DX goals and technical impact across the IT organization.
  •  Encourage cross-business communication and understanding by educating teams and guiding them on the cloud migration journey by tearing down organizational silos.
  •  Report on progress, risks, the delivery schedule, and successful implementations on a regular basis.
  •  Consider the long-term effects of current technical decisions and stay current with Delta's technology roadmap.
  •  Work closely with the groups and parties involved in the product's development to gather requirements, handle dependencies, and identify opportunities and risks.
  •  The DX product backlog is the managed and shared prioritized list of requirements for upcoming product development.
  •  Priorities are established by rearranging the product backlog items in accordance with stakeholder feedback and strategic organizational needs.
  •  Share the vision and strategy of the departmental and program leadership, and then direct the use of people and technology in that direction.
  •  Make sure the Delta methodology, standards, and practices are adopted and used.
  •  In case it's necessary, control the output and expectations of outside consultants.
