Work with developers and security engineers to create novel application security solutions from concept to release as a member of our team as we create cutting-edge technologies to protect Target's network.
  •  Our environment makes use of the software our team develops for incident response and detection. We work closely with incident responders to refine our triage applications and enhance the detection tools used by our detection teams. You will use your expertise as a Lead UI Developer to address complex problems and make sure that Target's monitoring, detection, and mitigation capabilities continue to advance.

  •  3 years or more of software development experience, with at least one full cycle implementation.
  •  Significant experience writing production-level React, TypeScript, and modern Javascript code.
  •  a great deal of skill in creating and designing applications that involve active user interaction and extensive visualization.
  •  understanding of how to make applications that require more than just data entry and forms.
  •  experience with d3. js, Vega, Canvas, or other similar frameworks and libraries.
  •  coordinating and exchanging data with the project team, partners, and stakeholders.
  •  demonstrates expertise in capacity, operational health, and system performance analysis and optimization.
  •  knowledge of data lifecycle management and development of solutions.
  •  upholds thorough technical proficiency in relevant fields.
  •  keeps up with new technologies through academic study and independent research.

 This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work arrangement (internally referred to as "Flex for Your Day") depending on Target's needs. In a remote work arrangement, a team member works full-time from home or another non-Target location does not have a desk at a Target location, and is only allowed to travel to the corporate headquarters up to four times annually. Under a hybrid/flex for your day work arrangement, your core role may be carried out either remotely or onsite at a Target location, depending on what your role, team, and tasks are required for that day. Work obligations may not be carried out away from the primary working location unless otherwise specified by Target.
